We’re seeking an experienced Installation & Service Technician/Engineer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing grain drying, storage, and handling systems across the East of England.
This position suits someone who enjoys practical, varied work, has strong problem-solving skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional results to customers.
Duties will include
- Carry out installation of grain handling and drying systems, including elevators, conveyors, silos, ducting, and steelwork.
- Carry out preventative servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on existing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and basic electrical faults.
- Coordinate on-site operations, including plant, lifting, deliveries and subcontractors where/when required.
- Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Support system commissioning, testing, and handover.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure seamless project / job delivery.
- Ability to manage own time and workload including logging / tracking materials and working hours for each specific job/project.
Skills & Experience
- Must have a valid driving licence.
- Able to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Can do attitude to resolve issues.
- Be able to follow the company’s health and safety policy.
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
Desirable
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Experience with grain drying, storage, or processing systems.
- Understanding of the agricultural sector.
- IPAF, PASMA, forklift, or telehandler certification. (advantageous, not essential).
- Welding and fabrication skills. (advantageous, not essential).

- Salary/Hourly rate - Competitive dependent on experience. Basic working hours 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (plus overtime to meet seasonal demands and out of hours breakdowns/call outs).
