The Project Manager / Personal Assistant is a mission-critical role, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and supporting her on a daily basis. The job holder will be primarily responsible for providing strategic sales, business improvement and project management support to the Anchor Safety Leadership Team. Initiating, scoping and executing client-facing projects as the business grows, they will be a significant contributor and enabler to the entire Anchor business.
This is a unique and unusual opportunity for an entrepreneurial all-rounder, with a Sales background, to take on real responsibility, facilitate the rapid future growth of the Anchor businesses, and potentially be a future Sales Director in the making.
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables
- Scoping, planning and execution of client-facing business improvement projects
- Facilitating and driving important sales and business development initiatives, through expert teams across the business
- Leading internal system and process developments
- Providing seamless operational and personal support to the COO in her day-to-day role
- Other key accountabilities to be agreed as the role develops

- You'll understand - and can demonstrate in real time - modern consultative selling skills and techniques
- You'll have at least 2-3 years front-line Business to Business Sales experience - but you know that you can add more at a strategic level
- You'll know that you're a future Sales Leader - you just need an opportunity to set yourself aside from the crowd, and demonstrate your worth
- You're a self-starter, who is tirelessly looking for opportunities to add value to the business
- You're analytical, with an understanding of the importance of quality and value, and a strong focus on the “big picture”; in short, you're a thinker and a strategist...not a talker
- BUT you're also a relentless “Completer-Finisher” - adept at taking the lead on projects, from initial conception and scoping, through to completion
- You're well-presented, organised and business-like

Computer skills:
- Must be fluent in the use of MS technology, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project Management / tracking tools
- Must also be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of AI tools to deliver results efficiently
- Proficient presentation skills, including creating reports and PowerPoint presentations - and delivering them to demanding audiences
