JOB TITILE: Relief Security officer
PAY RATE: £13.38 per hour
TYPE: Zero Hours Contract
SETTING: Education
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Relief customer service security officer for an education setting. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reception meeting and greeting
- Checking student ID and issuing of temporary passes to students and visitors
- Locking and setting the building alarm
- Internal patrols ensuring and welfare checks of students and visitors
- Control room duties
- Ensuring students are following the Universities code of conduct
- Reporting any defects, incidents or near misses are report to the Facilities Officer
- Must be IT literate

- Excellent personal presentation.
- Microsoft Skills
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have a current SIA licence
- Must be first aid and fire Marshall trained
- CCTV required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be able to provide check-able 5-year employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods in receipt of benefits).
- Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.
INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:
Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
