Are you an experienced LGV Driver, with a current class 2 licence and valid CPC card?

Experienced HGV Driver required. Experience in waste industry welcomed but not essential.

About The Role

Location: Transfer Station, Wallsend Rd, North Shields NE29 7SH

Starting Salary £34,217.00 per annum plus bonus
Working 48 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, excellent overtime rates
Start time: 05:00 am
Full PPE provided

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hard working team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

An HGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
Experience of working with Rear Compaction Vehicles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
