Event Supervisor – Events
Location: Event venues across the UK
Pay: £14.57 per hour
Contract: Casual event work with flexible shifts
We’re looking for confident, reliable and safety-focused Event Supervisors to support the delivery of high-quality live events across the UK. This is a great opportunity for experienced event professionals who enjoy leading teams, supporting safe operations and helping create a positive visitor experience at busy venues.
You could be supervising teams at venues and clubs such as Burnley Football Club, Wigan Warriors, Manchester United, Everton FC, Coventry City FC and more. What you’ll be doing
- Supervising Event Stewards and supporting the smooth running of allocated areas
- Briefing team members before and during events, ensuring duties and expectations are clear
- Monitoring crowd movement, queues, entry and exit routes to support safe event delivery
- Acting as a key point of contact for stewards, visitors, venue teams and management
- Responding to incidents, concerns or potential risks and escalating where required
- Supporting ticket checks, accreditation, access control and customer service standards where needed
- Completing basic reporting and helping ensure teams work safely, professionally and in line with instructions
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in event stewarding, supervision, crowd management, customer service, venue operations or a similar role
- A professional, approachable and reliable attitude with the confidence to lead by example
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- The ability to stay calm, make sensible decisions and support others in busy environments
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions from event management
- A flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and event-dependent shift patterns

Required documents
- A valid DBS Certificate
- Evidence of relevant event, stewarding or supervisory experience may be requested

- Level 3 spectator safety qualification
Hours of work
Shifts vary depending on the event, with early, late, evening and weekend work available. Supervisors may be required to attend briefings before event start times and remain in position until duties are completed.
Work is offered on a casual basis, giving you the flexibility to choose shifts around your existing commitments.
Rate of pay
Pay is event dependent and will reflect the Event Supervisor role and responsibilities, with an hourly rate of £14.57.
