The Role
You’ll be the link between our customers and the parts they need by identifying, sourcing and supplying parts for agricultural, ground care, construction and landscaping machinery, including our aftermarket range. You’ll work closely with the workshop and service team to keep repairs on track.
- Serve customers at the parts counter, by phone and by email, in a professional and friendly manner
- Identify and source parts using catalogues, manufacturer systems and internal databases
- Prepare quotations, process orders and take payments accurately
- Liaise with the workshop and service team to ensure timely supply of parts for repairs
- Help manage stock, booking in deliveries, stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Support merchandising and presentation of the parts store and displays
- Build strong product knowledge, including our aftermarket parts range and current promotions
What You’ll Bring
You know your way around a parts department. You’re accurate, organised and good with people and you don’t need to be told what good service looks like.
- Experience in a parts, stores, trade counter or similar customer-facing role
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, approachable manner
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in ordering and paperwork
- Confident with IT systems including order processing, manufacturer catalogues, MS Office
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and under your own initiative
- Experience in agricultural, groundcare, construction, landscaping or automotive parts (desirable)
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment and components (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
