About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Property Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. You will carry out minor repairs, coordinate contractors for specialist works, and help ensure our property portfolio is maintained to a high standard. You’ll also support health & safety compliance across our properties, helping keep tenants, contractors, and colleagues safe. The position works closely with the Lettings & Property Manager and reports to the Head of Property, Development, and Safety, you will play a key role in keeping our tenants happy and our properties are safe, well-maintained, and compliant.
Contract: Permanent, full time
- Hours: 40 hpw - predominantly Monday to Friday ~ 08:30 – 17:00
- Location: Central Support Offices, Maude Street, Kendal
- Salary: £30,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance.
- Coordinate and schedule external contractors for specialist works.
- Liaise with tenants and contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently.
- Support Health & Safety compliance, including routine checks and working safely with contractors.
- Monitor maintenance progress and ensure jobs meet quality and safety standards.
- Assist with property inspections and keep accurate maintenance records.
What We’re Looking For:
- Practical experience in property maintenance.
- Ability to manage small repairs and coordinate contractors.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
