Full job description

We're looking for a friendly and organised receptionist to join our team, working across both our Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale branches.

This is a busy front-of-house role and you'll be one of the first people our clients speak to, whether that's on the phone or in the practice. We need someone who is approachable, enjoys helping people, and can stay calm and organised when things get busy.

The role includes:

Greeting clients and their pets
Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Taking payments and keeping records up to date
Supporting the vets and nurses with day-to-day administration

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Have good communication and customer service skills
Are organised and have a good eye for detail
Are confident using computers
Can work well as part of a team
Have previous reception or customer service experience

Previous veterinary experience would be helpful, but it's not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours:

25 hours per week
Includes some evening shifts and Saturday mornings
Flexibility to help cover holidays and sickness would be appreciated
