Full job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for reliable Groundworkers to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in New Romney. You will support a range of general groundworks activities, helping deliver safe and high-quality projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting
Assisting with externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required
Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers
Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman
Operating dumpers where ticketed and required on site
Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules
Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

CSCS Labourer/Groundworker card or equivalent, with proven site experience
Experience in domestic drainage, topman duties, or dumper operation preferred
Confident carrying out general groundworks tasks under supervision
Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors
Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Ride-On Roller
CAT & Genny ticket
Safety Critical Medical
Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
