Scheduler – Admin & Clerical
Contract: 20-week temporary contract

About the Role
We're looking for an organised and customer-focused Scheduler – Admin & Clerical to support a busy repairs and maintenance service based in Maidstone. This role is key to ensuring repairs and maintenance work is scheduled efficiently, appointments and workloads are managed effectively, and reactive maintenance services are delivered to a high standard for tenants and customers.
You'll be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance appointments, working closely with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to keep the scheduling process running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
Scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance work efficiently
Managing appointments and workloads within a reactive repairs environment
Acting as a professional, front-line point of contact for tenants and other customers
Communicating clearly and effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal teams
Maintaining accurate records and updating scheduling and maintenance systems as required
Working closely with tenants in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
Supporting the effective delivery of reactive maintenance services
Using standard procedures to resolve issues in a timely, efficient, and effective manner
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Eligible to work in the UK
GCSE/O Level standard or equivalent
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Previous experience scheduling work within a repairs or maintenance environment
Experience providing front-line, customer-focused service
Experience working in a housing management or maintenance environment
Experience working closely with tenants in a diverse or multi-cultural community
Strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills
Desirable:
Previous experience working within social housing or reactive repairs
Experience using scheduling or maintenance management systems
