Who are we?

Jeff Way Construction are a full-service building and maintenance company. Established in 2014 we specialise in kitchen & bathroom upgrades, external works, planned works & voids for local authorities & housing associations.

The Role

Due to continued growth in South Wales with new long term secured contracts we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial elements of our responsive, planned replacement and void contracts.

The main responsibilities of the role will be;

Maximising profit and ensure our full contractual entitlement is claimed on each job
Implementing and monitoring controls on all commercial aspects of our contracts
Producing performance reports for KPI performance on all contracts
Processing sub-contractor payments
Supporting onboarding of directly employed and sub-contract labour
Monitoring cashflow and achieving payment application & invoicing timescales
Supporting Commercial team with tendering for new contracts

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: -

Experience in construction/social housing environment
Experience working with NHF schedule of rates
Experience in commercial management
Experience of using job management software
An ability to work in an organised and efficient way
Ability to work to deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
Excellent IT Skills
Ability to travel throughout South Wales
