About the Role

We are looking for an organised, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Planner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in production planning, scheduling and gain experience in supply chain.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, you will assist with creating schedules, coordinating relevant stake holders and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and on time. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the successful delivery of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining project and operational schedules.
Coordinate workloads and allocate resources effectively.
Monitor progress against plans and identify potential delays or issues.
Update planning systems and maintain accurate records.
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth communication.
Produce reports and planning data for management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and planning processes.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety requirements.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further qualifications in business, logistics, construction, engineering, or project management are advantageous but not essential.
