Elma Electronic is a global designer and manufacturer of products for housing electronic systems. Due to expansion plans, Elma Electronic UK is now looking for the right person to fill the position of Project Manager. The successful candidate must have previous experience and a proven track record of managing projects covering product Design, Development and Manufacturing phases. The candidate will hold Prince 2 certification or equivalent Project Manager qualifications.

Key responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of the project following order placement though to delivery/customer acceptance of the product or service supplied
· Create and deliver project plans (Microsoft Project) and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of complex projects
· Utilise the company’s ERP and CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics 2012) for information gathering and activity tracking purposes
· Provide necessary documentation deliverables to the customer by working with internal departments to ensure compliance to customers Statement of Work (SoW)
· To work closely with internal departments to ensure milestones are met from Engineering/Design, Procurement through to Production and delivery to the customer
· Ensure payment milestones are met and invoiced on time
· Arrange and chair project review meetings with the customer which may be held at Elma or the customers premises
· Arrange regular telephone/Teams’ conferences with project stakeholders
· Generate and circulate meeting minutes and actions
· To provide timely responses and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries at all times
· Ensure that any export regulations that apply are adhered to and compliance is achieved
· Manage customer returns for upgrade, re-work or warranty repairs when part to a specific project
· Development and maintaining key relationships with customers
· Provide a monthly report on activity and performance of all “live” projects
· To freely share knowledge, insight, best practice and ideas
Skills and Experience
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager in a similar role
· Proven track record of managing multiple projects which are typically of a complex nature
· Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills
· Numerate and literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to deliver clear and concise instructions and feedback to both internal departments and customers
· Critical Thinker - must be analytical, with the ability to interpret information quickly
· Both pro-active and re-active when necessary to ensure timescales are met
· Highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
· Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
· Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision but work closely as part of the Sales/Commercial Team

This is a very customer facing role so the right candidate must be commercially astute and comfortable in working face to face (physically and virtually) with customer contacts.
