We are looking for an HR Operations Manager on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to lead HR service delivery across a diverse telecoms workforce. Reporting to the HR Director, you will manage a small HR team and drive efficient, compliant, and digitally enabled HR operations that enhance the employee experience.

What you’ll do

Deliver consistent, high‑quality HR operational support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, offboarding, and HR advice
Improve HR processes by introducing automation and digital tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
Monitor HR service performance using KPIs and take action to drive continuous improvement
Act as an escalation point for complex HR queries from HR Advisors and the wider business
Produce HR reports and insights to support workforce planning and leadership decision‑making
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, data security, sponsorship, and governance requirements
Support and educate managers on HR policies, compliance, and best practice
Lead, coach, and allocate work across the HR Operations team to ensure effective delivery
