Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming environment and possess a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in hospitality and food service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
Assist customers with menu selections and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation and service.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including giving correct change.
Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Basic food preparation skills are beneficial.
Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
