Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hrs per week Mon to Fri, Office hours with a paid lunch break

A Receptionist to provide a professional first impression to all our visitors and a welcoming voice for our patients at the end of the telephone. With full responsibility for the reception area, the team perform a vital communication role connecting the wider administrative functions of the business.
The role involves
Welcoming visitors to One Health providing a professional service throughout their visit, including arranging meeting rooms, offering refreshments and arranging lunches. Answering and actioning incoming telephone calls. Assisting patients with their telephone enquiries including rearranging appointments. Providing administrative support to the Patient Liaison Department and Accounts Team ensuring a patient’s pathway of care runs smoothly. Other administrative duties will include responding to emails, organising post, ordering and replenishing stock.
The successful candidate
You will be people focused, have first class communication and interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team promoting our FIRST values and behaviours. You should have a professional outlook, empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patient confidentiality.
Knowledge and skills
To apply for this position candidates must have a background providing a first-class reception service, and proven switchboard experience and office administration, ideally gained within a medical environment. Commitment to providing excellence in patient service is what matters to us the most and in-house training will be given. Experience using Microsoft office packages, Excel, Word and Outlook is essential.
