At Richard Murray Plant Hire Limited, we currently have a fleet of 7 x 18T Road Brushes and 1 x Precinct Road Brush. We have an extension client base who have requirements for the following shift cover; dayshift, nightshift including weekdays and weekends. Therefore, we are seeking a candidate, who ideally has prior experience in operating a Road Brush between 16-18T however we are able and willing to provide the relevant experience to a the right candidate who has the required license to operate the plant.
The candidate would require to be a hard-working individual and a team player. Whilst you are predominately working yourself, whilst operating the Road Brush, you are working with a larger team on the sites to support the client and the business' individual needs. Therefore, we are looking for an individual with good communication skills who are willing to muck-in and support (within their capabilities) to get the job done!
You will report to one of our depots on a daily basis, carry out a daily defect check on your vehicle and any small maintenance (greasing, changing centre/channel brushes etc). For any larger maintenance, you will be required to note this on your defect report and notify the relevant fitter for repairs. You will then report to the relevant site in a timely manner, ensuring that you and the relevant plant are a positive representation of the company. Your schedule is likely to vary day-to-day, however travel is 90% within the Glasgow area and any additional travel will be discussed with you beforehand as we do carry out work in England.
You will require to hold your Class 2 License, and ideally a CSCS card.
The salary is dependant on experience however is competitive in line with the current market.
