Job Title: Drainage & Plumbing Engineer
Location: Greater London (covering up to a 100-mile radius)
Salary: £36,400 – £44,200 per year (depending on experience) + bonuses + overtime
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00

United Drains is a leading UK commercial plumbing and drainage company, delivering high-quality services to businesses nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Drainage & Plumbing Engineers to join our expanding team.

Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and proactive engineers with strong plumbing and drainage experience. You will work across a variety of commercial sites, both independently and as part of a team, delivering professional and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations
Diagnose faults and unblock drains
Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and produce reports
Perform high-pressure water jetting
Undertake drain excavations and installations
Complete basic plumbing maintenance tasks
Prepare and submit job quotations
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in drainage engineering
Skilled in drain laying, CCTV surveys, and jetting
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Full UK driving licence (required)
Willingness to work overtime and occasional call-outs
Availability for at least 45 hours per week
Clean DBS check
