We are looking to recruit skilled CNC Setter/Operators to join our team. You'll be responsible for setting and operating a variety of CNC machines, ensuring components are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Day Shift:
- 37½ hours per week
- Monday to Thursday – enjoy every Friday off!
- Flexible start and finish times to support a healthy work-life balance.
Night Shift:
- 37½ hours per week
- 3-night working week: Monday to Wednesday
- Flexible start and finish times, giving you a long weekend every week.
- 25% night shift allowance
Responsibilities:
- Load programs, set and operate CNC machines.
- Produce first off components for inspection and approval.
- Be responsible for own quality recording outputs to drawing specifications.
- Monitor machine while working to achieve optimum outputs.
- Always looking for continuous improvement in all processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Within your capabilities, carry out routine maintenance of equipment and machinery within your area.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Have experience of Fanuc controls, or similar.
- Previous experience operating a Doosan Lynx would be beneficial but not essential.
- The ability to read and understand complex drawings.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Works well within a team and the ability to work alone.
- Good problem-solving skills.
