Location: Kings Hill / Hybrid

Salary/package: £32,126.17 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

As a Bureau Data Analyst Lead, you will lead a team of Bureau Data Analysts who deliver reporting, analysis and insight to public sector customers across energy and utilities. This is an opportunity to shape and influence a growing service, ensuring customers receive high-quality reporting while helping the business continuously improve and innovate.

This role would suit an experienced people manager with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for developing teams, improving services and challenging existing processes. It offers the opportunity to lead a growing function, influence future service development and make a visible impact across the organisation.

This is a role where leadership, innovation and commercial awareness are essential, with responsibility for developing a team, enhancing customer value and supporting the continued growth and evolution of the Bureau service

What you’ll be doing

Leading and developing a team of Bureau Data Analysts to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
Managing team performance, workload planning and delivery against service standards and deadlines.
Supporting colleagues through coaching, mentoring and ongoing development conversations.
Ensuring reporting outputs meet high standards of quality, consistency and accuracy.
Challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve services and customer outcomes.
Developing new service opportunities that add value for existing and future customers.
Managing escalations and supporting the resolution of complex operational challenges.
Providing performance reporting and insight to support decision making and future service development.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience managing and developing successful teams.
Strong experience working with data, reporting and performance information.
The ability to challenge processes, identify opportunities and drive positive change.
Experience implementing service improvements and delivering measurable outcomes.
Experience managing operational performance, quality standards and delivery targets.
Good Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills.
A proactive, inquisitive and solutions-focused approach with a desire to continuously improve services.
Energy industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We are more interested in candidates with strong leadership, data and service improvement experience.
