About the Role

RCS Janitorial Supplies is looking for a confident, motivated and commercially driven Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team.

This is a new business-focused role where you will be responsible for identifying and approaching potential customers, introducing our range of cleaning, janitorial and hygiene supplies, preparing quotations and developing new accounts into long-term customers.

The role will suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, isn't afraid of picking up the phone and is motivated by winning new business and earning commission.

With a competitive basic salary and uncapped commission, there is excellent earning potential for someone who can consistently generate opportunities and convert them into customers.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively cold call prospective businesses to introduce RCS Janitorial Supplies and our product range.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across a variety of sectors.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.
Understand each customer's cleaning and hygiene requirements and recommend suitable products.
Prepare and issue competitive quotations to prospective customers.
Follow up quotations and enquiries with the aim of converting them into orders.
Build strong relationships with new customers and develop repeat business.
Contact existing prospects regularly and maintain accurate records of conversations and opportunities.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products.
Work closely with our internal team to ensure customers receive excellent service.
Keep up to date with our product range, pricing and promotions.
Achieve agreed sales, call and new-account targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, quotations and customer information.
Develop accounts from initial cold call through to becoming regular RCS customers.
Products You Will Be Selling

Our product range includes cleaning and hygiene supplies for commercial customers, including:

Cleaning chemicals
Paper hygiene products
Toilet rolls and hand towels
Hand soaps and dispensers
Refuse sacks
Janitorial equipment
Mops, buckets and cleaning accessories
Cleaning machinery
Washroom and hygiene products
General commercial cleaning consumables

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:
Confident and professional on the telephone.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
Target-driven and motivated by commission.
Persistent and able to handle rejection positively.
Friendly, personable and good at building relationships.
Organised and able to manage a pipeline of opportunities.
Confident preparing quotations and discussing pricing with customers.
Commercially aware and able to identify sales opportunities.
Able to work independently while also being part of a wider team.
Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office and CRM/customer management systems.
Previous telesales, business development or cleaning/janitorial industry experience would be advantageous, but the right attitude, confidence and drive are equally important.
