About the role
We're hiring a Technical Architect to lead the design, build, and evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform estate. You'll own end-to-end solution architecture: translating business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation into scalable, secure, well-governed technical designs, and providing hands-on technical leadership to developers, consultants, and third-party partners.
Key responsibilities
You'll define and own the solution architecture for Dynamics 365 (CE/Sales/Customer Service) and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), ensuring designs align with enterprise architecture principles and security standards. You'll lead technical design workshops with business stakeholders, produce high-level and low-level design documentation, and govern the development lifecycle including code review, ALM/DevOps practices, environment strategy, and release management. You'll design and oversee integrations between Dynamics/Power Platform and surrounding systems (Azure services, SQL Server, ERP, document management, third-party APIs), and lead data migration and data model design in Dataverse. You'll evaluate and implement emerging capabilities, including generative AI and Copilot/OpenAI integration into business processes, where they deliver measurable value. You'll act as technical escalation point and mentor for developers and low-codemakers, and manage the technical relationship with Microsoft and delivery partners.
Essential experience
Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Technical Lead on enterprise Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations; strong Dataverse data modelling, security model design, and solution/ALM management; Azure integration patterns (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management); Microsoft SQL Server and broader Microsoft infrastructure background; experience governing mixed pro-code/low-code delivery teams; strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences.
Desirable
Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-600 Solution Architect, PL-400, AZ-305); experience embedding AI/OpenAI capabilities into Power Platform solutions; experience in real estate, professional services, or consultancy-delivered programmes; experience transitioning solutions from an external delivery partner to an internal team.
Pay: £230.00-£350.00 per day
