Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive refinishing and technical craftsmanship.

The Ideal candidate for this position will have a background in SMART repair. Salary is negotiable with experience

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
Mix paints and coatings accurately according to colour specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
Operate spray guns and other power tools efficiently to apply paint evenly across vehicle surfaces.
Use hand tools for surface preparation, minor repairs, and finishing touches.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to identify imperfections or inconsistencies.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Proven experience in vehicle painting or automotive refinishing is essential
Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle surfaces and painting techniques.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or materials.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to spray painting environments is advantageous. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals eager to develop their skills in automotive painting while contributing to high standards of craftsmanship.

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
