Job Title: Night Shift General Warehouse Operative / Operations Support Picker (Milk & Chemicals)
Hours of Work:
- 40 hours per week
- Sunday – Thursday
- 8.00pm – 4.30am (with a 30-minute break)
Salary: £27,850 per annum
Bonuses: £2,400 per annum
Holidays: 25 Annual Days + 3 x Bank Holidays (New Year’s Day, Christmas Day & Boxing Day)
Description: As a Night Shift General Warehouse Operative / Operations Support Picker you will be specifically responsible for picking milk and chemicals (cleaning products) and providing support to ambient pickers following picking instructions as directed via a voice headset for ambient and chilled goods as required. Additionally, any general warehouse duties as necessary.
Essential Skills/Requirements:
- Be able to work at a fast and efficient pace
- Ability to listen and respond to instructions via a headset
- Feel comfortable working in a cold environment
- Be able to pay close attention to detail at all times
Desirable Skills/Requirements: Previous picking experience, however, not essential as training will be provided and this role could be considered a good introduction to gain experience for more advanced picking roles
