Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our innovative IT team. In this role, you will be the frontline for resolving technical issues, providing exceptional support to users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain high levels of user satisfaction, optimize system performance, and support our organization’s technological growth. Responsibilities

Respond promptly to user inquiries via help desk tickets, phone calls, or email, delivering clear and effective technical support.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and network connectivity (LAN, VPN, TCP/IP).
Manage and support desktop environments including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and SCCM for software deployment and updates.
Configure and maintain network security components such as firewalls, DNS settings, VPNs, and TCP/IP protocols to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
Assist with computer hardware setup, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance to keep systems running efficiently.
Utilize ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira to document incidents accurately and track resolution progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving LAN/WAN infrastructure, server management, and software troubleshooting.

Skills

Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN architecture, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, and firewall configurations.
Proven experience in desktop support across multiple operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
Familiarity with Active Directory management for user account setup and permissions control.
Hands-on experience with software troubleshooting using tools like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and remote support tools such as SCCM or similar platforms.
Understanding of IT security principles including VPNs, firewalls, and network analysis techniques.
Ability to analyze complex technical problems quickly and develop effective solutions efficiently.
