Are you interested in supporting children with additional needs to get to and from school ensuring they have the opportunity to learn, play and make new friends?
If you can spare a few hours in the morning and afternoon, you’ll give them the chance to make the most of their day. Morning routes begin around 07:30 ending around 09:00. Afternoon routes commence approx. 15:15 – 15:45 ending at around 16:30.
This role would fit well around existing employment and any commitments you may already have.
No formal qualifications are needed as training will be provided.
All you need is a natural rapport with children and young people. This would be relief work initially with the potential of becoming permanent in time.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role.
