Position: CNC Machinist (Milling or Turning)
Location: Near Reading
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum (flexible based on experience)

Join Our Precision Engineering Team

We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist to become part of our experienced and supportive team in a modern, well-equipped workshop near Wimbledon. This full-time, permanent position involves both CNC and manual machining to create high-precision components. If you have experience with HAAS, Fanuc, or Hurco and can handle both CNC and manual operations, this is an excellent opportunity to advance in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC milling or turning machines (HAAS, Fanuc, or Hurco).
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Maintain tight tolerances and conduct initial inspections.
Operate manual milling and turning machines as required.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets.

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, including programming and setup.
Proficient in HAAS, Fanuc, or Hurco controls.
Ability to interpret technical drawings while adhering to precise tolerances.
Experience with manual milling and turning.
Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
