Team Leader Vacancy: We're looking for part-time key, enthusiastic Team Leader with retail experience to join our friendly tea, This is a varied hands-on role combining customer service, shop operations, stock management and a significant amount of local customer deliveries.
Delivering customer orders is a key part of this role, so you must enjoy driving, be confident loading & unloading orders, and be happy spending part of your working day out on delivery routes as well as in the shop, (currently only 1 day, but this may increase) You're a smart, high-energy, positive-minded dog lover. Maybe your skills have gone unnoticed at your current Pet Store, and you think you'd be a better fit at a smaller store more intensely focused on helping pets and their owners. Or maybe you're currently under-appreciated in a larger corporate retail environment and would like to have more of an impact on your store. We'll train you about the dog world and our role in it. We're planning to hire 1 x Team Leader.

Required: (do not respond if you can't answer yes to all)
- Do you have a contagious enthusiasm for dogs & people?
- Are you willing & able to work weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends?
- Are you willing & able to start work at 10:00 and/or end after 5pm?
- Can you regularly lift & carry 50 lbs without concern?
- Do you love to learn about animals and pet care?
- Our store is in Wrexham. LL127NB (Can you reliably get there).
- Do you have a clean driving licence with 0 points?
Extra Credit:
- Retail or business experience related to pets
- Familiarity with holistic & healthy pet foods
- Strong interest in the diet of pets, and all aspects of pet care
- Volunteered and/or supported non-profit animal rescue organizations
Basic Duties: (for everyone)
- Greeting customers & pets
- Providing thoughtful customer service & advice
- Opening / Closing tasks
- Receiving deliveries, stocking shelves
- Carrying customer purchases out to the car
- Keeping the shop neat, clean, and orderly
Team Leader Duties:
- All of the above, plus
- Open and Close the shop, as scheduled
- Provide clear, helpful direction to other team members
- Handling sticky customer situations
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Make bank deposits
- Responsible for prompt stocking on delivery days
- Ongoing quest for pet-related knowledge for you and your team

There are additional part-time positions available, As a retail shop, everyone is expected to be able to work during the day, evenings, and weekends.
