Marquee Rigger – Nationwide Travel - Full-Time | Permanent

Pontefract, West Yorkshire

£15.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Minimum 40 hour working week - Often overtime is required.

Occasional weekend and working away required.

Full UK Driving Licence Required (Must Be 21+)

Hands-On Outdoor Role | Nationwide Installations | Corporate & Major Event Work

UK Event Structures is one of the UK’s leading marquee hire and manufacturing companies. We design, manufacture and install high-quality clear-span structures across the UK, working predominantly within the corporate, commercial and large-scale event sectors.

We’re growing and looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our installation team.

The Role

This is a physical, hands-on position involving the build and dismantling of marquee structures, flooring systems and associated equipment across the UK.

As we manufacture in-house, there will also be days spent in our warehouse assisting with the production of aluminium framework and PVC covers.

Early starts, long days and working in all weather conditions are part of the job — especially during peak season (May–August).

No two projects are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Installing and dismantling clear-span marquee structures
Laying flooring systems and interior fit-outs
Safe loading and unloading of vehicles
Picking and packing equipment
Operating machinery to clean PVC covers
Assisting with manufacturing marquee components
Working to deadlines and strict health & safety standards
Representing the company professionally on-site

What We’re Looking For

Full UK driving licence (essential)
Must be 21+ (insurance requirement for company vehicles)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Flexible with early starts and occasional weekend work
Strong team attitude

Previous marquee or construction experience preferred — but not essential. Full training provided for the right candidate.
