Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Senior Conveyancing Administrator to set up our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of administrative tasks related to property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to prioritise workload effectively. The Senior Conveyancing Administrator will play a vital role in supporting solicitors and clients throughout the post completion journey, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating all administrative aspects of property transactions and post completion
- Performing a post completion service.
- Organising and maintaining electronic and paper files in accordance with firm procedures
- Communicating effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant IT tools
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and deadlines to ensure timely progression of cases.
- Ensuring compliance with legal protocols and confidentiality standards at all times
- Managing time effectively to handle multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience within a legal or conveyancing environment is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A professional attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
