Security Concierge (Homeless Accommodation)

Location: Kirkcaldy, Fife
Pay: £13.45 per hour + Double Time on Public Holidays
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (45+ hours per week)
Shifts: Nights & Weekends

Securitay Limited has been delivering professional security services across Scotland since 1985. As an SIA Approved Contractor, we work with homelessness accommodation providers to create safe, secure, and welcoming environments for residents, staff, and visitors.

We're looking for professional, reliable, and compassionate Security Operatives to join our team in Kirkcaldy. If you're calm under pressure, enjoy working with people, and want a role where you can make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's accommodation while providing excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing access and exit to the accommodation
Welcoming residents, visitors, and contractors professionally
Building positive relationships with residents through respectful communication
Monitoring CCTV and carrying out regular security patrols
Completing internal and external building inspections
Managing scheduled building lockdown procedures
Maintaining accurate incident reports and shift records
Registering visitors and verifying identification
Liaising with emergency services, client representatives, and on-call support when required
Monitoring external areas, including car parks
Completing any other reasonable duties requested by management

What We're Looking ForEssential

Valid SIA Front Line Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard)
Good written and spoken English
Professional, calm, and confident approach
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Previous security experience
Experience working within homelessness accommodation, housing, social care, or with vulnerable individuals
Full UK Driving Licence
