Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing construction company, specialising in home insurance claims.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:00.

Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day administrative tasks and office support.
Handling customer enquiries by phone and email.
Liaising with homeowners, insurance companies, loss adjusters, and contractors.
Scheduling appointments and coordinating works.
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
Supporting the team to ensure projects run efficiently from start to finish.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

A proven background in administration.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and general office systems.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A professional and friendly approach with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience within home insurance claims.
Experience working within the construction or property repair industry.

While experience in insurance claims or construction is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate who has the right attitude and strong administrative experience.
