Full-Time Videographer & Content Creator
Company: Creative Marketing Group
Employment: Full-Time
Role: Videographer / Content Creator / Video Editor
About Creative Marketing Group
Creative Marketing Group is a fast-moving marketing and technology agency working with businesses across a wide range of industries.
We're expanding our in-house content capabilities and are looking for a talented, energetic Videographer & Content Creator to become our go-to person for producing high-quality video content.
This isn't a role where you'll spend every day sitting behind a desk editing footage.
You'll be out in the real world — travelling between client locations, filming businesses, interviewing people, capturing behind-the-scenes content, producing social media videos, and creating content for Creative Marketing Group itself.
One day you could be filming inside a restaurant, the next at a construction company, professional services firm, retail business or one of our own internal shoots.
We're looking for someone who loves creating content and wants variety.
The Role
You will take ownership of video production from idea through to finished content.
Working alongside our marketing team, you'll help develop content ideas before travelling to client locations to capture the footage required.
You'll then edit that footage into engaging, professional content designed primarily for platforms including:
- Instagram Reels
- TikTok
- YouTube Shorts
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- Websites
- Digital advertising campaigns
A major part of the role will involve creating short-form, attention-grabbing social content, so you should understand what makes people stop scrolling and watch.
Key ResponsibilitiesFilming & Production
- Travel regularly to client locations to conduct professional video shoots.
- Film engaging content including interviews, talking-head videos, testimonials, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes footage and social-first content.
- Capture content for Creative Marketing Group's own marketing and social channels.
- Set up and operate professional cameras, microphones, lighting and other production equipment.
- Ensure consistently excellent framing, lighting and audio.
- Direct clients and team members who may not be comfortable on camera.
- Identify opportunities for additional content while on location rather than simply filming from a predefined shot list.
Content Creation
- Work with our marketing team to develop creative concepts and video ideas for clients.
- Turn marketing objectives into practical video concepts and shoot plans.
- Understand current social media trends, formats and content styles.
- Create content that feels native to each platform rather than simply producing traditional corporate videos.
- Develop hooks, concepts and visual approaches designed to capture attention quickly.
- Help clients tell interesting stories about their businesses, products, people and customers.
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging finished videos.
- Edit both short-form social content and longer-form video where required.
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, music and sound design.
- Perform professional colour correction and grading.
- Create basic motion graphics and visual effects where appropriate.
- Produce multiple edits and formats from individual shoots to maximise the amount of usable content generated.
- Optimise videos for different social platforms, aspect ratios and placements.
- Manage revisions and implement client feedback efficiently.
Content Management
- Maintain organised libraries of footage and finished assets.
- Ensure footage is backed up and stored correctly.
- Manage multiple client projects and production deadlines simultaneously.
- Work with our wider marketing team to ensure content is delivered according to client schedules and campaigns.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is creative, commercially aware and extremely hands-on.
You should be equally comfortable walking into a client's business and running a shoot as you are sitting down afterwards and turning the footage into brilliant content.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven professional videography and video editing experience.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
- Excellent knowledge of professional camera equipment.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition and audio.
- Excellent video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics is highly desirable.
- Photography skills would be a major advantage.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms.
- An understanding of what makes short-form content engaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence directing clients and people on camera.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shoots and editing projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently without needing constant direction.
Important: Travel Is a Major Part of This Role
This is not a fully office-based or remote editing position.
A core part of the job involves travelling between our clients' locations to capture content.
You therefore need to be comfortable being out on shoots regularly and working across different environments and industries.
A full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport would be highly advantageous.
The Person
Technical ability matters, but we're equally interested in your attitude.
We're looking for somebody who walks into a business and immediately starts thinking:
"What could we create here?"
You should naturally spot interesting shots, stories, people, products and moments that could become great content.
You'll need to be proactive, confident around clients, full of ideas and comfortable working in the fast-paced environment of a marketing agency.
Why Join Creative Marketing Group?
You'll get exposure to a huge variety of businesses rather than producing the same type of content every day.
You'll have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of video and content production within the agency, work directly with clients, experiment with new formats and help us continually raise the standard of content we produce.
If you're passionate about videography, editing, storytelling and social media — and want a role where you'll actually be out creating things rather than sitting behind the same desk every day — we'd love to see your work.
