Job Description:

We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our teams in Lancashire (based out of our Myerscough Smithy compound).

What we are looking for:

Self-employed basis
Someone who has strong housekeeping skills to ensure yard is kept tidy
Ability to move materials, stock, tools and/or equipment
Loading and unloading deliveries
Operation of Forklift trucks and other on site machinery
Basic maintenance and repairs
Waste disposal and recycling
Stock check and inventory levels
Sweeping, pressure washing and general upkeep
Following all our procedures including health & safety
Work well as part of a team and has a 'can do' attitude
Motivated to do the job right first time

Licences / tickets:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence (deal-breaker)
CSCS (deal-breaker)
Telehandler licence (deal-breaker)
Fork Lift Truck licence
Health & Safety Awareness
Basic DIY and maintenance skills
