Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and hair styling, with excellent communication skills. This role involves providing expert hairdressing services, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring a superior client experience. The Senior barber will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, fostering a welcoming environment, and contributing to the overall success of our salon.

Experienced female barbers are also warmly encouraged to apply.

Duties
Deliver advanced hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel valued and satisfied
Mentor and support junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative solutions
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalised advice
Assist in colour consultations and treatments as required
Uphold the salon’s reputation by consistently delivering high-quality services

Requirements

Proven experience in hair styling and barbering at a senior level
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to mentor junior staff and foster team collaboration
Demonstrated proficiency in hair styling techniques and current trends
Professional attitude with attention to detail and high standards of hygiene
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if necessary
Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering are preferred
