Platinum K9 are looking for a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our training team, working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages within our residential training programmes.
Our work includes delivering structured residential training programmes, supporting dogs with a wide range of needs from foundational obedience through to more advanced training and behaviour support always with welfare and safety at the forefront.
We pride ourselves on consistently high standards of care, training and professionalism, and on the trust clients place in us both in the UK and internationally. Clients often share how their family life improves once their dog returns home, allowing them to enjoy time together again.
This is a hands-on role where professionalism, consistency and dog welfare are essential.
Experience is essential, you need to have been involved in dog training for at least 3 years. Wage will be dependent on experience. A calm approach, strong work ethic and willingness to follow agreed methods and procedures are key.
The role includes:
- Delivering structured training programmes to dogs with a range of needs
- Daily care of dogs you are assigned, allowing you to build positive relationships that support training, routine and ongoing welfare checks
- Ensuring dogs in your care receive appropriate enrichment and positive interaction to support wellbeing alongside their training
- Supporting safe handling and movement of dogs around the site
- Communicating professionally with clients during handovers and updates
- Completing clear and accurate training and welfare records
- Working closely with the training and kennel teams to maintain consistent standards
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is calm, confident and professional around dogs
- Has a genuine commitment to dog welfare
- Can work as part of a team and follow agreed training methods
- Is comfortable in a physically active, outdoor role
- The role is 40hrs per week and you will be expected to work 1 weekend in 7.
Pay: £26,437.00-£31,724.00 per year
