Company Overview

AM Surveying & Block Management provides Block Management and Building Surveying consultancy services across London and the South East.

We are looking for an experienced Legal & Insurance Supervisor to join our professional and supportive team. This is a varied role overseeing legal, insurance, conveyancing, and company secretarial matters within the business.

The Role

As Legal & Insurance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

General Duties

Supervising and supporting junior team members
Providing assistance across departments within the business

Company Secretarial

Issuing AGM notices
Attending AGMs and taking minutes
Filing director appointments and resignations
Filing company accounts and confirmation statements

Conveyancing

Managing invoices
Producing management packs
Handling post-completion documentation

Insurance

Arranging insurance renewals and liaising with clients
Processing changes following RCAs
Managing insurance-related invoices

Legal

Handling breach of lease notices
Managing complex alteration applications
Assisting with legal claims and court cases
Supporting RTM incorporation and acquisition
Managing lease extensions and deeds of variation
Liaising with solicitors regarding lessee debts and referrals

Requirements

Previous experience within the Property Management or Block Management industry is essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Professional and confident approach when dealing with clients and solicitors
Experience handling legal, insurance, or conveyancing matters is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary & Benefits

Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
