PMO & Project Support – Sceptre Networking Limited

At Sceptre Networking, we design, deliver, and support high-quality data cabling and IT infrastructure projects for Higher Education clients across the UK. From structured cabling and fibre installations to complete network rollouts, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, well-managed projects with minimal fuss. The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team in Somerton, TA11. This position sits at the heart of our operations, helping us plan, track, and deliver projects efficiently and consistently.

You’ll be the go-to person for coordination and communication, ensuring information flows smoothly between departments, projects stay on schedule, and clients always know what’s happening next. This is a varied and dynamic role, part coordinator, part problem-solver, part process champion, ideal for someone who enjoys structure, teamwork, and seeing a plan come together.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Coordination: Support the delivery of structured cabling and networking projects from start to finish, planning, scheduling, and documentation.
PMO Support: Maintain project templates, track progress, and help standardise reporting.
Communication Hub: Act as the link between engineers, sales, procurement, and management, keeping everyone aligned.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare project reports, commissioning packs, and ensure all paperwork (quotes, handovers, drawings, as-builts) is accurate and complete.
Resource Coordination: Assist with engineer scheduling, stock checks, and logistics.
Data & Financial Tracking: Input project data, monitor costs, and support financial analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and help refine processes for future projects.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in project support, coordination, or PMO work, ideally in networking, IT, or construction environments.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills, comfortable working with engineers and clients.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project tools (MS Project,).
Understanding of data cabling or networking projects is a big advantage.
Knowledge of PRINCE2 or similar methodologies is useful but not essential.
