Full job description

Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a hands-on Bagging line Operator to join our diverse, friendly and passionate Production Team. At Superior powders, we bring together years of experience operating a powder processing facility to service the European food and beverage industries, supplying a wide range of products including colourings, flavourings and savoury powders, including our organic cheese powder.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Set up, operate, and monitor all the plant and equipment in the bagging room including bagging head, metal detector, stitcher, etc.
Identify and report machine faults or quality issues promptly
Carry out cleaning of plant and equipment to required standards of hygiene within the allotted time
Maintain product quality (labelling, packing and palletisation) and report defective product
Complete required production paperwork
Adhere to health & safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with Spray Dryer Operator, be continually aware of plant’s performance

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

· Physical strength (ability to handle 25kg bags)

· Knowledge of and or experience of working in a Food industry would be advantageous, though full training is provided

· Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills

· Reliable, flexible and able to work rotating shifts
