Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a flair for creativity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant salon environment, providing clients with exceptional hair styling services while showcasing your expertise in various beauty treatments. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills and grow within the industry.

Duties

Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, colours, blow-dries, and specialised treatments tailored to client preferences.
Perform specialised beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalised advice.
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Upsell additional products and services to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
Assist with store management tasks such as stock organisation, cleanliness, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering, colour techniques, or other specialised skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styling techniques.
Skills in store management, customer service, and effective communication are highly desirable.
Certification or training in eyelash extensions and makeup application is advantageous.
Ability to perform upselling tactfully while prioritising client satisfaction.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and team members.
Organised with the capacity to manage multiple appointments efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A professional attitude with a passion for ongoing learning and industry trends.
