Job List details
Who is Digitech World UK Ltd?
Digitech World UK Ltd is a UK-based technology services business supporting organisations with practical, scalable digital, IT and operational improvement solutions that strengthen productivity, resilience, process control and day-to-day business performance. We partner with clients across a range of sectors to understand their operational challenges and deliver tailored services covering systems support, process improvement, service management, workflow optimisation and structured technical coordination designed to keep teams running smoothly and securely.
Our focus is on delivering measurable outcomes, not generic fixes. That means disciplined service delivery, clear communication, and a proactive approach to identifying risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities before they impact performance. We take a client-first, commercially minded approach, combining responsive support with dependable standards, structured processes and a commitment to building long-term relationships that scale as our clients grow.
Overall Purpose of the Job: The overall purpose of the Production and Process Engineer role is to support the design, review, coordination and continuous improvement of production systems, operational workflows and process controls across the business. This role is responsible for analysing production requirements, improving process efficiency, reviewing operational data, supporting quality and compliance standards, preparing process documentation and helping management deliver reliable, cost-effective and scalable operations.
You will act as a key technical contributor, ensuring sound engineering judgement, effective coordination and high-quality process support across all stages of production planning, implementation, monitoring and improvement.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:
Skills and Knowledge
● Plan, coordinate and improve production and process engineering activities, including workflow design, production layouts, equipment utilisation, labour planning, material flow and operational efficiency.

● Investigate production defects, process variation, equipment-related issues and operational failures, then recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurrence and improve performance.
● Coordinate production and process improvement activities with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, maintenance staff, quality assurance personnel, procurement teams and management to support smooth operational delivery.
● Support the introduction of new production methods, machinery, tooling, automation, digital systems and process improvement initiatives, ensuring that changes are properly assessed, documented and implemented.
● Monitor production progress, inspect process outputs, verify material quality and ensure that work is completed in accordance with agreed specifications, quality standards, programme targets and health and safety obligations.
● Identify engineering risks, process constraints, compliance concerns and programme issues, and implement practical solutions to minimise delays, defects, downtime, waste and cost overruns.
● Prepare progress reports, production records, technical documentation, risk assessments, performance dashboards, inspection reports and handover information for management review.
● Assist with cost estimates, material requirements, supplier assessments, procurement planning, inventory coordination and technical evaluation of resources required for production and process improvement work.
● Ensure that production and process engineering activities are carried out in line with company procedures, quality assurance standards, health and safety requirements, environmental obligations and statutory compliance requirements.
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of production systems, lean working practices, process validation, root-cause analysis, operational controls and cross-functional engineering processes across Digitech’s technical operations.
