Job Overview

Job Duties: The role focus on the social, educational, and personal development of young people (e.g., mentoring, community guidance, crisis support).
Designing developmental activities, providing crisis/stress support, and managing program budgets and volunteers

Skills

Leading and motivating a team of youth workers.
Planning and organising youth programmes and activities.
Delegating responsibilities effectively.
Managing budgets, resources, and facilities.
Making informed decisions and solving problems.
Building positive relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds.
Listening actively and showing empathy.
Communicating clearly with staff, parents, schools, and partner organisations.
Handling difficult conversations and resolving conflicts
Understanding child and adolescent development.
Supporting young people's emotional, social, and personal growth.

Recognising signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Monitoring attendance and evaluating programme outcomes.
