Larkins Environmental is seeking to appoint a General Drainage Operative in Gildersome, Leeds on full time, permanent basis.
The Job:
We are seeking a General Drainage Operative to support our Drainage Engineers in delivering essential services, including drain cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance for both private and public systems. Key duties include assisting the CCTV Drainage Engineer, handling emergency callouts, operating company jetting vans, and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.Ensuring compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality and Environment (such as completing the daily vehicle checks and maintenance tasks, signing onto RAMS, undertaking point of work risk assessments, reporting vehicle and plant defects to the management, understand and comply with driver hour regulations etc). Reporting of accidents, near misses as soon as possible.
You will work closely with HGV and CCTV Drainage Engineers and other Drainage Technicians, ensuring all Jetting & CCTV works are completed on site. Contribute towards producing high quality results, reports and feedback. You will liaise directly with customers and site contacts.
About You:
You will be required to hold a driving licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally.
You will have industry experience as well as CSCS card (or affiliated qualification) as a minimum. You may hold these desirable qualifications of HPWJ, SLG (Streetworks), First Aid at Work.
