What this job involves:
As an office agency professional at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic office leasing initiatives across the Leeds and broader Yorkshire and North East region. This position requires a deep understanding of the office sector, client relationship management, and transactional expertise to deliver exceptional results for JLLs corporate occupiers and landlord clients. Depending on your experience level, you'll either lead or significantly contribute to achieving revenue targets and the growth of our business while developing new business opportunities that expand our office agency platform.

For candidates at Director level, this role additionally includes leading and mentoring office leasing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability that empowers the team to thrive and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Leverage your client and market relationships to generate immediate revenue while expanding JLL's office agency footprint across Leeds and the broader Yorkshire and North-East regions
Develop and execute business development strategies that capitalise on your reputation and network to secure new landlord and tenant representation mandates
Conduct sophisticated market analysis across Leeds, Sheffield, York, and North East markets to inform client decision-making on lease transactions, short term regears and strategic occupancy decisions
Negotiate complex office lease agreements on behalf of clients, demonstrating your detailed understanding of agency processes and leasehold transactions to achieve optimal terms
Cultivate C-suite and senior-level relationships with corporate occupiers, property owners, and institutional investors, delivering the exceptional client care that has defined your career
Collaborate with cross-functional JLL teams including capital markets, lease advisory, project management, and workplace strategy to provide integrated real estate solutions
Bring a commercial attitude and entrepreneurial drive to identify opportunities that diversify our service offerings and strengthen market positioning
Represent JLL at industry events and networking forums across the region to enhance brand visibility and reinforce our thought leadership in the Yorkshire and North-East office sector
Contribute to team success by sharing market intelligence and supporting colleagues in delivering seamless client experiences
(Director level) Lead and mentor office leasing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability that empowers the team to thrive
Required qualifications:
MRICS qualified, currently at senior surveyor level or above
Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial real estate experience with significant focus on office agency and leasing transactions
Proven track record of winning work through your reputation and commercial relationships within the market
Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running with strong capability for client care and detailed understanding of agency processes
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels
Ambitious, hardworking professional with commercial attitude and entrepreneurial mindset toward business development
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with institutional clients, including corporate occupiers, private equity firms, or REIT platforms
Complementary skillset, personality, and experience that diversifies and strengthens the existing team composition
Track record of thought leadership through published market commentary, speaking engagements, or industry participation within the regional commercial real estate community
Familiarity with workplace strategy, hybrid work models, and emerging office occupancy trends shaping the post-pandemic environment
Proficiency with commercial real estate technology platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools
(Director level) Proven leadership experience with ability to develop and mentor junior team members
