Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a lively environment, providing excellent service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with strong time management skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders efficiently
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately and promptly, maintaining quality control
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol policies
Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere and promote special offers or events
Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
