If you are a recently qualified Quantity Surveyor, the role of Junior Consultant could be the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next stage.
The position is ideal for a graduate in a relevant degree or an individual who has worked within a QS practice or contractor for up to 3 years to develop their skills and expertise as part of a team providing commercial support of general quantity surveying, and possibly been on the periphery of some dispute resolution. You may already have some experience in these specialist areas, but don't worry if you don't as we will provide full training and support to help you develop and gain expertise to practise in this field.
You will be working with Quantum Consult's team of experienced consultants with a varied client base, such as Main Contractors on projects with a £2m+ value and £500k Subcontract Packages. You may also work on claims assignments abroad through existing international clients of Quantum.
It is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic construction industry professional with the right personality, skills and ambition to play an important role in the future of Quantum.
The role will be varied and will involve working with senior members of the team:
- Handling commercial and contractual queries
- Taking a forensic approach to surveying and contract administration
- Managing own project and contract administration
- Advising clients in line with company procedures
- Providing high level of service
- General day to day Quantity Surveyor duties
A related degree, ARICS or MRICS status and PQS or Contractor experience are essential requirements for this role, as is a full driving licence and your own car.
An attractive package is available which we would be happy to tailor to your individual needs.
