What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and child-focused Community Inclusion Coaches to support the delivery of football and multi-sport programmes across Leeds and Yorkshire.
As part of the Community Inclusion team, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, safe, and inclusive activities that inspire children and young people to be active, develop new skills, and enjoy participating in sport.
Working across a variety of community settings, schools, holiday programmes, and Foundation initiatives, you will help create positive experiences for participants while promoting the values of Leeds United Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality football and multi-sport coaching sessions.
Support children and young people of varying ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.
Adapt coaching delivery to meet the needs of different participants.
Promote participation, enjoyment, and personal development through sport.
Support the delivery of Foundation programmes across Leeds and Yorkshire.
Build positive relationships with participants, parents, schools, and partners.
Ensure sessions are delivered in line with safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
Maintain registers, risk assessments, and programme records where required.
Attend relevant staff meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities.
Promote the values, vision, and standards of Leeds United Foundation.
Support equality, diversity, and inclusion across all programme delivery.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll have:
FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football qualification or recognised multi-sport coaching qualification.
Valid FA First Aid qualification.
Valid FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
Eligibility to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for working with children and young people.
Flexible approach to coaching across a variety of community settings.
Access to your own transport and ability to travel across Leeds and Yorkshire.
Experience
FA Level 2 / UEFA C Coaching Qualification (or working towards).
FA Youth Award qualifications.
Training in behaviour management, SEND inclusion, or youth development.
Experience delivering holiday camps, soccer schools, or community sport programmes.
Experience coaching large groups and mixed-ability participants.
Experience working within schools, youth clubs, grassroots football, or community settings.
