About us
Le Club Français & El Club Español provide language clubs in the West Yorkshire area and nearby via classes and clubs as part of LCF Clubs, who have been operating in the UK since 1985 and prioritise fun learning as a way of speeding up the acquisition process for children.
We are a professional team of tutors working in West Yorkshire, sharing our passion for languages with the help of fluent French & Spanish speakers.
Using our fun courses, songs & games, we spread the love of language learning to primary age children.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and outgoing linguists for our FUN clubs (lunch time /after school) and teaching positions in schools in the LS20/29 and BD17/23 postcode areas and surrounding.
Teachers should have experience working with children age 3-11 & will need their own transport. For this role, there could also be an opportunity to take on the role of a franchisee, supported by the current franchisee.
Expected hours depend on language and availability.
We require an experienced teacher who has previously worked with children and understands the needs of young children. Alternatively, someone with another business-focused background with language ability may also be considered.
All the resources and ready made lesson plans will be provided.
We require a suitable person who will enjoy delivering the sessions in a fun and interactive way.
You MUST:-
- be fluent or near fluent in French and/or Spanish (at least A level standard)
- be available to work either or both lunchtime and/or after school for at least the full school term, and longer term if possible.
- (if you are interested in working in school classes) be experienced and/or qualified in this regard
- be enthusiastic about working with children.
- be living near the LS29 /LS20 / BD17 / BD23 areas or be able to travel there with own transport.
Please be aware this is *not* a full-time position, only part-time, however there may be future opportunities to expand the number of sessions you do, and as mentioned, take on the franchise at some point in the future.
For those who are interested in the future franchisee opportunity (not obligatory), you would be mentored and guided by the current experienced franchise holder, and there would be fees involved with this, to be determined later. This would be a fantastic opportunity to take on a firmly established business in the education and children's activity sector.
For the teaching role, some training will be given, but to be successful, it is important that you have a good understanding of and fluency communicating in English.
As this is an urgent position we cannot accept applicants who are NOT already living in the local area, and we will be not be accepting any applicants who do not demonstrate that they live in the local area on their CV or application.
Please send your CV if you have one, or explain your availability and experience in your message to us. CVs sent without completing all the necessary information will not be accepted.
Applicants can also send directly to [email protected] or contact Sophie on 07880 806013 for quicker response.
