Full job description

We're looking for a Business Services Co-Ordinator to join us at Lizard and Mid-Cornwall Property Office, based at Penrose Bunkhouse, Chyvarloe, TR12 7PY. If you’re brilliant at organisation and creating order, you love working with people, and always uphold high standards in service and presentation, then this could be the role for you! Internally, you'll be known as a 'Business Services Co-ordinator (place based)'.

Salary: £13,806 per annum (pro-rated from £27,612 full-time equivalent)

Contract Duration: Permanent

Working Hours: You will work 18.75 hours per week (equivalent to 2.5 days per week), between Monday and Friday. As a flexible employer, we do not require a fixed working pattern, so your working days could vary from week to week.

Provisional Interview Date: Monday 17th August

What it's like to work here:You’ll be based at our small, friendly office at Penrose Bunkhouse in Chyvarloe, supporting the National Trust's Lizard and Mid Cornwall Portfolio. Around ten colleagues are based in the office, with other staff and volunteers regularly joining us for meetings and collaborative working, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

What you'll be doing:This is a busy place with a lot going on, and you’ll find that no two days are the same.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be the first point of contact for many day-to-day enquiries, and you’ll provide essential business support that helps our property teams run smoothly. From co-ordinating administration to supporting colleagues across the portfolio, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything organised, and enabling our teams to focus on caring for the special places we look after.

You’ll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, and will confidently challenge the status quo when you think there’s a better way of doing something.
