Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Office Bookkeeper to manage block management financial records and occasionally answering the phone. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero. Experience of block management accounting would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Organise and file financial documents in accordance with company standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Office Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an administrative or finance environment
Proficiency in accounting software Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
